Congo (Republic)
Restless as you stand at top,
Surveying so the land,
Fearful of an avalanche
Which threatens of hot sand,
The ask is for a rest at peace,
To be true to your word,
To say that which is at tip
Of tongue, and be so heard.
Speak your mind, and let it flow,
Discourse is all the rage,
Let the river flow at best,
And release from frightening cage,
For if one does what is from heart,
And lives true to the essence,
Miracles are apt to follow,
And mend a broken fence.
