17 December
In the course of living out your life do you stop to question the degree to which you take responsibility for self? Do you accept that it is up to you, and you alone, to take charge? Or do you sit back and wait for clues, someone else, perhaps, to tell you what to do?
How much of your waking day is consciously acknowledged? How much is mindless routine? Harsh words, maybe, but have you ever stopped to think just how productive, fulfilled and joyful you would be if all that occupied your time was as you would have it be, according to your innermost dreams?
There is no magical awakening ahead, unless you accept that a major tragedy will come knocking to bring you to your senses, and that is but a dim possibility.
And time is rapidly dispersing. Soon age will trap you here, too old, too sick, perhaps, to change your ways, and fear will keep you chained to the past. There is only now, today, to make a fresh start, and take a hold of self, and start anew, finding ways to make your dreams come true.
And no matter how remote the possibility may seem that you could one day live out your dreams, you must begin, and persist, if you are to avoid regrets and bitterness in later life. Grow up and be the person you knew you’d be when the innocence of childhood kept you free.
Optimism and confidence are only a state of mind, and you are so much more, you have reserves of courage and will, rarely tapped into before. Reach deep down within your core, and bring to surface, now, the means to ensure success and joy forever more.
