A Daily Message

15 December

What does it mean to be a day behind, to be so slow to finish the race that one is lapped by others inspired to venture forth at such a pace? And if time does not exist, except for manmade notions of what it means to age and recall memories of long ago, then what can be made of such comparisons between the then that was and the future yet to be?

When time is analysed subjectively, confusion reigns, and no more sense can be made of it than that which has been learned as a child; unlike so many other tales of old which, as adults, we come to understand with wiser minds.

Why then the obsession with an unknown quantity? Why so many wasted moments spent idly? Surely life on earth is vastly more precious than this? Time it is to do away with past and future tense; to absorb oneself in the now is the call.

Do not try to analyse that which cannot be fathomed. Try another tack and disregard the notion of its existence in totality. Doing so will free you to be true to self, and all eternity will dawn, forever at your beck and call.

Some may say that to avoid such analysis is childish, shirking responsibilities which, as adults, one must shoulder. But no matter how hard one tries to structure chaos, one will never neatly solve a puzzle that constantly changes to suit the present need.

Time is as elusive as the wind at speed. And one’s life is likewise but a brief interlude in time. Understand yourself within a split second, and miraculously you will hold the key to all the universal truths which know no bounds or limitations in this realm.
