Being alone has often been dramatised as undesirable. But without momentary introspection nothing would be known about oneself. And whilst, for some, these times are long and hard, rewards are ultimately many.
Tough out such enforced hibernation and you will be surprised by just how much you will have grown. And, with renewed strength and conviction in yourself, you will be free to contribute to others’ lives in such a way that is mutually beneficial.
Try not to look upon solitary life in a negative manner. Do not confuse being alone with feeling lonely. Make the most of such freedom to follow your inclinations, and use your time alone to great advantage.
The only danger one may suffer in solitude is the loss of a wider view, of compromise and consideration for others. But if you keep your heart open, and seek to serve, then you will always understand another’s woes, and act appropriately when called.
In the final analysis all seekers on the path deserve, and are required, to have some time to self. When your time comes you will not know, but as it arrives be grateful that you have been given this opportunity to glow, a lone light brightly, for others who are likewise there, looking for outward signs that theirs is not the only despair.
Show courage and determination and strength of will. You will find inner reserves and qualities as yet untapped. Embrace your life with all the zest of one who has been granted the golden key to the hidden secrets of eternity. Discover your truth and it will set you free.
