It does not make a difference which way you forward march; so long as there is forward movement growth is guaranteed. The important distinction is that you make an effort to be freed from past constraints which limit the possibility of becoming who you truly are, and fulfilling your destiny.
So pause not long and hard, deliberating upon the future. Merely take a course that leads you forward. Enjoy the road ahead and soak up your surrounds. Be present in the moment and maintain the awareness and curiosity of a child. Learn from your mistakes and accumulate wisdom tall.
Give of heartfelt thanks in gratitude for all that comes your way, and use a clear intellect to so discern right from wrong, true from false. There will be snares, and tests and trials. You will experience discomfort and loneliness awhile. But every so often the joy of a lifetime will be felt, and blissfully you will be conscious of a rhythmic note that plays a tune of universal scale, eternal, loving, constant, to give you cause for celebration.
There is no benefit in stalling. No merit in procrastination. Worry only serves to upset fragile nerves better honed for spiritual endeavour and service in this world.
Much of life is forward movement; with time and advancing years one cannot help but learn from one’s environment and gradually allay old fears. But it is crucial to make an effort to continue along one’s path when the hour is late and skies are dark. Progress made at these times is significant to say the least, and it is a real test of character and courage if one can slay the beast of doubt and indecision.
Muster all the energy you have inside, and stay on course despite the waning tides.
