When one climbs a mountain there are many obstacles in store, and tests and trials are evident all the more because the energy expended, merely in taking another step, is exponentially inferred. Sometimes life is larger than expected. Sometimes the effort required appears too much to ask. But if each day was weighted equally, and all accomplishments were completed effortlessly, then monotony and stress would follow to tip the scales and help one grow.

There is no better test for growth this life than the pursuit of excellence in all facets of learning. And it is natural to seek, within oneself, an aptitude or skill which can be honed and shared with others well.

Do not hide beneath a rock of indecision. Branch out far and wide, and live your dreams. You can accomplish greatness if you begin in earnest, and have patience all the while. But if you resist the urge to come out from a hardened shell, and turn your back on opportunities presented, then the road will become far steeper than once was, and as the mountain rises so will your anger at the sense of loss experienced.

Turn towards the summit now and climb with all your might. This hurdle will not be a battle of eternal flames. As soon as you befriend this challenge, and know it by its name, you shall enjoy the adventure afforded, and be free.

Each summit reached provides a chance to recuperate, take stock and prepare for the road ahead. Enjoy each stage, for there are merits to be found in every moment of one’s journey homeward bound. Keep a clear head and soldier on with a love for self unashamed and proud.
