It is often thought that in order to render service selflessly one needs large amounts of time, and so one waits until retirement to give to others of themselves. But this is not so, and in fact no time at all is required to give love to another so in need.

So much of life is routinely wasted, and energies misplaced. One single smile warmly sent can, however, make the difference to one who receives this gesture unconditionally.

Now is the time to act upon those thoughts you’ve had for years, the role you’ve thus imagined you could play to wipe away the tears of pain and help free another soul from deep despair. Now is all there is to render service fair.

Do not wait until age has crept up on you, so fast. Youthfulness is maintained by giving and receiving in equal measure, a balance cast each and everyday you live and breathe. Excuses multiply with procrastination. Less work is achieved when idle time is wasted. Inefficiencies are born when health is less than optimal. So many years amount to naught but empty fill.

Be accountable for all your waking hours. Make the most of what is left, and flower your expanse of vacant land with wild blooms to cheer a weary soul who may happen upon your soil on the long and lonely journey to the centre of all creation. Be a pilgrim dedicated to your cause, and infuse with love and light your message bold.

Regularity is better than years of fruitless toil followed by a clump of time in service. A little effort everyday to give to others, how you can, is worth a universal bounty of treasure in your hand.
