Doubt in self at various stages of one’s growth is assured, and although it causes a degree of pain, it is, itself, an indication of much greater. For in this life there are so few real occasions to which one can attribute, upon reflection, a significant chain of events. But when doubt creeps in, at pivotal moments, so much can be accomplished, and great strides taken toward the destined goal.

Think of moments when a sudden danger has loomed near, or when a fright has stricken with such fear. Doubt may be more subtle, but its effects are just the same, a do or die scenario often follows along the way.

And it is during these moments that we discover who we are. Do we soldier on and win each victory, no matter how small? A test of character is surely what we experience when doubts arise; to do nothing, or to take to the task, and surprise oneself with iron will, and courage born of flame hotter than the distant sun, and beat the rage that wells up, from within, in an effort to prevent the greatness we are capable of, and which is forever sent on golden heels to our door to help us tread our path with the surety of one of mighty power.

So do not waste a moment, nor talk of failing quest. Simply take to challenges thus presented, and do your best.
